A Sustainable Legacy
The Fariña family has been at the cutting edge of viticulture for generations. Blessed with established old vines and arid conditions, in which diseases are virtually non-existent, they cultivate their grapes without the use of irrigation or chemical pesticides.
The practice of sustainable agriculture is not a new idea for the Fariñas, however, but rather a long-held tradition of treating the vineyards with maximum respect and maintaining a commitment to nature. The family continues to explore new, sustainable practices including organic viticulture and hopes to help propel the Toro region forward with a lasting legacy.
